PPS are no longer a distributor for the Kohler Marine and Industrial products within Australia and for any Kohler product technical support we can refer customers or our technicians directly to Ty Martin of Clarke Energy: TyMartin| Service/Technical Support – Kohler Clarke EnergyTy.Martin@clarke-energy.com t: +61882902100 m: +61437101729 www.clarke-energy.com The config. error module not available fault means that the DEC 4000 is looking for the 6 Output Digital report pack and cant see it on the can bus.If there is a report pack fitted the following fault may be present.Ethernet cable missing or Damaged, (needs to be a crossover type cable)Power to the report pack missing Can resistor not on at either side of the can bus.(needs to be switched on at the DEC400 and at the last module in the Can bus chain)Module is faulty.Software is configured for incorrect number of modules.If you suspect the software install a blank USB stick into the DEC 4000 and select "download config" or "Download all" by rotating the dial and depressing to select.You can Email this file by copying and pasting the data files in the folder onto an emailInstall the usb into your laptop and open the GCU software with the Kohler Dongle Installed.Modify the software as per attached document to the number of modules installed, (if no module installed deselect all boxes.)Transfer the file back onto the USB stick and reinstall into the DEC 4000.Select "upload Config" to install the data back onto the controller.
