MTU BVNG - Idle Speed Increase Button

Please find attached drawing of the optional “Increase Idle Speed” function. 

A 2 core cable will need to be run from the control station button to each LOP in the engine room on plug X34, pins 3 & 11. Also pins 4 & 12 will need to be looped out as per the attached drawing.

 

Also the maximum engagement / disengagement speed will be dictated by the ZF gearbox limits.
