If the gear box temperature readings are unstable in a Smartline installation, and you have checked that the PT1000 gear box temperature sender is good, the next step isto disconnect the temp sender cores from Smartline LOP ( or CCU ) gear box harness plug X30 cores 15 and 16, extend the 2 cores and connect straight into theSAM terminals ST20 terminals 21 and 20.The original 2 ST20 cables will be disconnected and taped.This bypasses the orange plug connections on the CIB4-XX card, with no long term ill effects on the operation of the Smartline LOP NOTEMTU-F should be releasing a new CIB4 main board late 2017 or early 2018, which should resolve these faulty connector issues.
