Intermittant CAN Bus errors

If a vessel is experiencing intermittent CAN bus errors, and when you have checked the CAN bus appears to be OK measuring 60 Ohms, the next step is to bypass the orange connectors on the CIB4-XX card.Disconnect the 6 CAN bus cables at the orange ST06 plug and disconnect the 6 can bus cables from the orange X22 engine harness plug, connect the disconnected ends together.Fit 120 ohm resistors to the X006 and X007 SAM CAN bus plugs, terminals 2 and 3 on both plugsConnectionST06-8 > X22-1 CAN1-H   ST06-1 > X22-15 CAN1-LST06-2 > X22-2 CAN1-GNDST06-4 > X22-3 CAN2-HST06-11 > X22-17 CAN2-LST06-10 > X22-16 CAN2-GNDNOTEMTU-F should be releasing a new CIB4 main board late 2017 or early 2018, which should resolve these faulty connector issues.
