Every drawing created within the Penske Engineering department should state the material required for every part requiring fabrication on the drawing. The AS/NZS of the material should be stated in the notes of the drawing so the manufacture/fabricator knows what material needs to be used. For mild steel flat plates, the grade of steel should also be stated on the drawing. For Structural Steel hollow sections, all materials come in Grade C350L0 and C450L0. Only the circular hollow section come in C250L0.
